Outdoor Options
National Arboretum is one of the world’s largest living collections of rare, endangered and significant trees. Winner of the World Architecture Festival for landscape, the National Arboretum surrounds visitors with panoramic views, stunning architecture and the natural beauty of trees and gardens from Australia and around the world.
Adventure Playground – Take the children along to the Adventure Playground in Kambah to let off some steam. This playground has been designed to meet the needs of toddlers, juniors and teenagers. There’s a tree house, junior and senior flying foxes, giant swings, space net and wheelchair accessible liberty swing. Skaters and BMX riders can try the challenging half-pipe.
The National Dinosaur Museum – The museum is currently open operating on a restricted capacity of 100 pax per timed one hour sessions. This allows up to one hour in the upstairs museum galleries then unlimited access to the dinosaur garden, gift shop and undercover decks. Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
