    Join us these school holidays as we explore the fascinating world of ancient Rome.Travel back in time and discover the determination, machines, and genius that carved the great Roman Empire.This family-friendly exhibition features carefully reconstructed replica machines that reflect one of the most technologically significant times in human history.

    The creators have reconstructed Ancient Roman technology using the same materials and techniques used thousands of years ago. You will see artefacts, models, catapults, frescoes, armour, weapons, busts, and more.

    The entire family will enjoy learning about this fascinating era, from Caesar’s military genius and Rome’s mighty machines, to gladiators, the Colosseum, and Roman life and people.

    In line with WA Government requirements and medical advice, the Museum has a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place and the Museum has been deep cleaned while closed. We are also offering contact-free activity packages and have removed shared materials from programs and some displays. Book in soon as numbers are limited to enable physical distancing.
