Dance Kids Australia

Dance Kids Australia brings to Perth for the very first time – The Melody Bear and Milligan Bear Dance and Movement Syllabus out of the UK.   This Dance syllabus is being taught to early years children all around the world and is the mainstay in many dance studios. 

Children bring their own teddy or soft toy to their dance lesson each week to dance along with Melody Bear, Milligan Bear and our Team. The dance lessons delivered are a variety of creative exercises with imaginative stories weekly, taking children on a magical journey through dance, movement and music. The music is unique as it has been specially written for this syllabus with songs that fully engage children.  Children will learn the natural foundation dance and movement actions of the body whilst they develop co-ordination, strength, balance, rhythm, technique, freedom of expression, creativity, spacial and self-awareness.  We use props and musical instruments to stimulate the child’s interest and senses and Melody Bear & Milligan Bear are the focal point in the classroom, giving students a sense of security as they settle into our classes.  It is a wonderful introduction to dance for young children before moving into other dance genres as they grow. Our aim is to instil a love of dance from an early age, creating wonderful memories for children, of their time at “Dance Kids Australia”.

Dance Kids Australia offers dance classes to children ages 18 months to 7 yrs (Pre-Kindy, Kindy, Pre-Primary, Primary, Grades 1-3).

We also deliver our Dance Program in Kindergarten’s and Primary School’s as an After School Activity.
